Our area was under a tornado watch this evening. It was windy but dry for most of the evening. The rain stared just before I was ready to open the gate and let the sheep back in the barn. Once the sheep were in it started to POUR. Gusting wind, thunder, lightning. Rain was blowing in the windows, water was running under the door. Most of the girls were so busy filling their bellies they didn’t even seem to notice the storm. However, as you can see in the photo, several were too anxious to eat. A couple of them were following my every move as I picked up their feeding tubs. It was pouring so hard I decided to hang out a bit before heading up to the house. Spread some lovin’ around while I was waiting. Seemed to calm the girls down some. When the storm let up they headed for the mangers and I made a dash for the house. At least it seems cooler now.
